Commander applying for (Must not be taken up): 501st Commander
Previous experience as officer (give battalion names and what you did there): None (on this server)
Knowledge of role (6 sentences min, do not copy and paste this): I been a commander before on another server, typically commanders get all the responsibility involved with regiments. They get to demote, promote people, handle situations, guide and inform troopers etc. They do work promoting the regiment to new players, and working with community leaders to improve the overall server. The must be both a person who is respectful and respected, one who can play the middle man in an arguement or situation. Commanders are there to be a friend and leader in a regiment, while also being able to dish out punishment when needed. They perform all sorts of tasks in order to keep their regiment happy
Why do you deserve this role (6 sentences min): Since joining the server, I've seen tons of people have fun on whatever job they play, I think I could fit the role as commander as I have done it previously and have learned from my own mistakes at it. For example, having focusing on documentation can eat away at your entertainment, so doing documentation is important but not all the time. Being Commander for me, i've nailed down the documentation bit, and and ready I guess to enjoy my time with the regiment more than I was in the past as I got plenty of time for it. I know how to do pretty much everything as a commander, from discord making, and how to deal with problems as a commander. In general, I don't see many people interested in the role, so I feel this would be a good opportunity to startup the regiment and see how it goes throughtout it's lifetime
Why would you be better than other applications (6 sentences min): I really don't see any so nothing really to comment here (Im not gonna fill the limit here) But in general I think anyone can become commander if they have the right mindset and time.
How would you handle tryouts: Similar to how it is now with probably additons of rainbows, and rp questions relating to lore or the server
How would you handle medics and making sure they know how to RP: I would train them in how to rp as one, for example how to prioritize which person they heal, who not to deal with etc.
How would you handle specializations: Engineers and grenadiers would be taught whats fine in events and outside events to do in general, but I don't see much training they need.
Have you read the commander/high command rules if applying for (check below, put N/A if not apply for those roles): yes
Addition info: I was a Commander on Zephyr for the 501st for a year and a half, their server got boring to me over time, causing me to leave as my friends left. Now that some people are back on gmod with me, and I got so much free time. I feel I'll give gmod another chance and try out a new server. In general I'm excited to see what I can do with 501st and help the server
